Pop Sondrio to enter Ftse Mib with March review, out Banca Generali


Buzzi, Saras, Banca Generali and Brembo should join the reserve list, according to the firm.

MILAN (Reuters) – Banca Popolare di Sondrio is expected to join the Ftse Mib index of Italy’s top 40 listed stocks, strengthening the weight of banks in the basket, with the quarterly review, the first since the start of the year, to be announced next Wednesday effective March 18.

The Valtellina-based bank’s stock is expected to take over from Banca Generali, which was already at risk of “downgrading” in the previous review in November, when Brunello…
