Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Milan, the lost 0.53%.

The best performers of the session on the were Prysmian SpA (BIT:), which rose 3.95% or 2.28 points to trade at 60.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Iveco Group NV (BIT:) added 1.15% or 0.12 points to end at 10.56 and Leonardo SpA (BIT:) was up 0.99% or 0.22 points to 22.45 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were STMicroelectronics (BIT:), which fell 2.25% or 0.88 points to trade at 38.21 at the close. Davide Campari
